What Backflow Base does.

Booking
- A hosted booking page with your name, colour and prices, one question a screen.
- Bookings from your own website: your form posts to the API, and a "copy prompt for your AI assistant" button writes the instructions for building it.
- Phone bookings: a Quo AI receptionist answers, and each call becomes a requested job priced from your price list. Anything it can't book is emailed to you with the transcript.
- Your price list: first device, each extra device, a yearly-plan price or percent off, an early-bird price with a last day, and promo codes with dates and caps.
- A testing season, so customers only pick days you test.
- Card payment at booking, or a pay link afterwards.
The office
- A schedule board by day and by month, with each tester's stops.
- Route the day: put a tester's stops in driving order.
- Customers in one list: address, contact, assemblies, last test, what is next, and what they have paid.
- Analytics: bookings by source, expected and collected revenue, leads, and each tester's tests per day and pay per hour, for any range or the season to date.
- Pay per tester: a base per day, an amount per test and a daily minimum.
- Hiring: a careers page, applications, and certificate numbers checked against the state tester lists.
In the field
- A field app for each tester's day, on a phone or tablet.
- It scores every RPZ, double check, PVB and SVB test as the readings go in, and works with no signal.
- The tester signs once; each report carries their certificate and test kit.
Water districts
- Every active US community water system, from EPA's drinking water database, with its service-area boundary.
- Each new address is matched to the district that serves it. An address near a boundary waits for the office to confirm.
- A district that takes email is told when a test is booked, so it doesn't shut the water off, and gets the report once the test is done.
- A district that takes reports on a portal (BSI Online, Tokay, VEPO, SwiftComply) shows on the Filings page with the portal's name, for the office to upload.
- Anything held, and why, is on the Filings page until someone releases it.
Customers
- Emails and texts from your own number: booked, the day before, on the way, and the result. A STOP reply stops the texts.
- Pay links on your own website's address.
- "You're due" reminders when next year's test comes round.
- Autopilot, the yearly plan: the customer agrees once, and the saved card is charged after each year's test, with the report. A declined card gets a pay link instead.
Payments
- Cards through your own Stripe account (Stripe Connect). The money is yours: Backflow Base takes no cut and adds no fee.
- A payment is marked paid only when Stripe says so, on your account.
HOAs, property managers, contractors and commercial sites
- A request form for each kind of business customer, with its own questions.
- A client portal: their sites and units, each test's stage from ordered to submitted, and their reports.
- Tests sold in bulk at your price, booked unit by unit from the portal.
- Documents they upload are read and filed by site, unit, date and serial.
Set up by an AI assistant
- Sign up, prices, testers, districts, the schedule and phone setup, through the API and MCP.
- Test mode: every email goes to your own inbox, marked as a test, until you turn it off. Only the owner can go live.
