Backflow Base / Tester certification / Kentucky

Backflow tester certification in Kentucky.

No Kentucky agency rule licensing backflow testers was found. The state plumbing code (815 KAR 20:120) requires RPZ assemblies to be tested at least yearly. KAMC, a trade association, certifies testers statewide, and Louisville Water requires a certificate for testing 'in the Commonwealth of Kentucky'. Water systems set what they accept.
