What it takes
- Credential
- DC Water approval as a backflow service provider (listed provider). Underlying certification not named.
- Test kit
- Test report form asks for the most recent gauge calibration date and requires a tester certification number.
Certificates from elsewhere
No other state's certificate is named as valid here. Ask the program before you rely on one.
Filing test reports
Listed providers register on DC Water's Third-Party Portal and submit survey, installation and test results there. DC Water announced a new portal, Acquaa, replacing the portal's BPA module.
